Kumano Hongu Taisha
It is located in Kumano Kodo, one of Kumano Sanzan. This Shrine was not located in the current place. Where is the original place and its approach?
Kumano Hayatama Taisha
A large Shrine took the name from the name of God who appears in Nihon Shoki. In the precinct, there is a big Nagi tree whose leaves are a talisman who connects with God.
Nachi Waterfall
Waterfall boasts a falling 133 m. This waterfall itself is the object to worship of the Kamono Nachi Taisha Shrine. Water with strong spiritual power, like Nachi's waterfall, can be drunk here.
Rindo-goryu
In the middle of Kumano Kodo,ther eare large and small round stones. Where do these stones come from? Here also has a history of 14 million years.
Kouya-zaka
World heritage "Kumano Kodo" includes coastline as well as mountains. It was also used as a living road connecting Shingu and Miwasaki.
Kumano River -Upstream
Even it is a river, the Kumano river is a part of "Kumano Kodo". On the riverbank there are places remained of the Kodo from the Heian period.
Kumano River -Downstream
Kumano river which flows through the prefectural boundary between Wakayama and Mie prefecture. Kumano Hayatake Shinto shrine was built to welcome the god who fell on Kamikura Shrine.
